St Leonards and St Ives sit just off the A31 between Ferndown and Ringwood, about four miles from the studio and roughly ten minutes by car.
Living beside the A31 has obvious advantages and one disadvantage, which is that almost everything nearby is on a main road. Turning off it and heading up towards Verwood takes about ten minutes and puts you somewhere considerably quieter.
There are two ways across. Up through Ashley Heath on the B3081 is the simplest. Cutting through Woolsbridge and Three Legged Cross is slightly shorter on the map and about the same in practice. Neither involves a town centre.
The studio is a private room with one client at a time, so the treatment is not built around a turnaround time. Products are Tropic skincare, picked for your skin on the day. If you have been putting a facial off because the local options all felt a bit clinical or a bit rushed, this is the other end of that scale.
From St Ives, the B3081 north through Ashley Heath is the easy run. From the St Leonards side, Woolsbridge and Three Legged Cross works out about the same.
Being ten minutes out means an appointment fits around a normal weekday rather than needing a free half day.

Every facial starts with a short chat about your skin, then a double cleanse, exfoliation, toner and a serum, followed by massage and finishing products including SPF. The longer Prescription Facial adds a treatment mask and a scalp or hand massage while it works.
No. Everything is provided, including the Tropic products used during the treatment. Come as you are, with or without make up, since the facial starts with a double cleanse either way.
