There are two sensible ways up from Wimborne. The prettier one goes out through Colehill and across towards Three Legged Cross on the back roads. The more predictable one drops onto the A31 at Canford Bottom and comes up through Ferndown and West Moors. Both land at around eighteen minutes, so pick whichever suits the time of day.
Wimborne people tend to be well served for the polished end of beauty treatments and less well served for the quiet end. The studio is a private room at home with one appointment in the diary at a time. Nothing is rushed to fit a fifteen minute turnaround, and the hour you book is genuinely yours.
The Prescription Facial at £40 is the one most people travelling from Wimborne choose, simply because if you are already in the car for eighteen minutes you may as well have the longer treatment. It runs 50 to 60 minutes with a mask, a longer massage and a scalp or hand massage while the mask sits.
Getting here from Wimborne
If you are coming from the Minster end of town, Leigh Road and Colehill is the shorter run. From Canford Bottom or the Wimborne bypass, the A31 through Ferndown is usually faster in the afternoon.
A late morning appointment leaves the afternoon free, which works well if you are combining the trip with Moors Valley or a walk on the Castleman Trailway.
